Italian Chicken Breast!

Flavorful and Tender Italian Chicken Breast!



2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast

1 Large Can Crushed Tomatoes

1/2 Cup Water

1 Small Yellow Onion

2 Cloves Garlic

1/4 cup Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper

Fresh Basil

Parmesan Cheese




Slice your Onion thinly. Set your stove top to medium and drizzle olive oil into a pan. Place Onion into pan and allow the Onions to simmer, stirring occasionally, until they become translucent. Remove Onion from pan and turn up the heat to medium/high. Season your Chicken with Salt, Pepper and a drizzle of Olive Oil. Place Chicken into pan and turn over after 6 minutes. While that is simmering, crush and slice thinly your Garlic. After the Chicken is turned, add the Onions back into the pan along with the Garlic, Stewed Tomatoes and Water. Let it come to a simmer and reduce heat to medium/low. Leave on the stove for 20-30 minutes. Remove and garnish with chopped, fresh Basil and shaved Parmesan Cheese. Serve with Pasta, Rice, or Polenta.
